Frequently Asked Questions
How does the automatic sync work?
ChoreoSync uses audio fingerprinting (FFT cross-correlation) to find the exact matching moment between your practice video and the reference choreography. The entire process takes under 2 seconds.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. To cancel:
  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
  3. Find ChoreoSync and tap Cancel Subscription
You'll retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
I switched phones. How do I restore my purchase?
Open ChoreoSync and tap Restore Purchases on the Pro screen. Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase, and your entitlement will be restored automatically.
What's the difference between Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime?
Monthly and Annual are auto-renewable subscriptions — Annual offers a significant discount over Monthly. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges: pay once and keep Pro access forever, including all future updates.
The sync result doesn't look right. What can I try?
Make sure both videos contain audible music — the sync engine relies on the audio track. If the practice video was recorded in a very loud environment or the music is barely audible, results may vary. Try trimming both videos to start where the music clearly begins and tap Align again. If you're still having trouble, email us with a description of your setup.
What is the AI dance score and how does it work?
After syncing your videos, ChoreoSync analyses your movements against the reference using AI (Apple CoreML). You get an overall score from 0 to 100, split into two sub-scores — Pose (how well your body-part positions and angles match) and Sharpness (how closely your movement timing and energy align). The analysis also highlights up to 8 moments where the gap is largest, with a side-by-side skeleton overlay, the specific body part to focus on, and a coaching tip.
How accurate is the AI score? Should I rely on it?
The score is an automated estimate based on pose and motion-energy comparison. It works best when both videos show a clear, unobstructed full-body view. Treat it as a practice tool — it highlights areas to focus on but is not a substitute for professional coaching or instruction.
What iOS version do I need?
ChoreoSync requires iOS 16 or later.
